La Barceloneta and the restaurant “Mirando al Mar”

La Barceloneta is one of the most famous and frequented district of Barcelona. It is located near the sea and its beaches are always full of people, since the fact that this place is loved both by locals and tourists! There are many restaurants and bars where you can try the typical tapas and drink some sangria, the most famous Spanish cocktail.
We wnt to La Barceloneta both in the afternoon and in the evening, because we were searching for a place where to have dinner. We found by the app “The Fork” a restaurant called “Morando al mar”, which overlooks the sea. Here we ate fried calamari and a special type of paella: it was seasoned with cuttlefish ink and accompanied by a delicious garlic sauce. We absolutely had to taste the crema catalana, a typical dessert of the region where Barcelona is located, the Catalogna.
We recommend you this restaurant: the view was spectacular, the waiters were attentive and polite and the prize was good in relation to what we ate. Our mark is 8 out of 10!
To end the evening, we had a walk on one of the gangways hat characterize this place.

La Barceloneta è uno dei quartieri più famosi e frequentati Barcellona. Si trova proprio sul mare e le sue spiagge sono sempre piene di persone, dato che questo è un luogo amato sia dagli spagnoli che dai turisti! È ricco di locali e bar in cui gustare le tipiche tapas e bere la sangria, cocktail spagnolo per eccellenza.
Noi siamo stati a Barceloneta sia nel pomeriggio che la sera, cercando un posto dove cenare. Abbiamo trovato tramite l’applicazione “The fork” il ristorante “Mirando al mar”, che appunto si affaccia sul mare. Qui abbiamo mangiato un piatto di calamari fritti e uno speciale tipo di paella: era condita con il nero di seppia e accompagnato da una deliziosa salsa all’aglio. Non potevamo non provare la crema catalana, dessert tipico proprio della regione in cui si trova Barcellona, la Catalogna. Vi consigliamo assolutamente questo ristorante: la vista è spettacolare, il servizio attento ed educato, il conto giusto in rapporto a ciò che abbiamo consumato. Il nostro voto è un 8 su 10!
E per concludere la nostra serata, abbiamo fatto una passeggiata lungo una delle passerelle che caratterizzano proprio questa località.
