MUSE- Science Museum

MUSE, Science Museum, is located in Trento and it was designed by the famous architect Renzo Piano. It describes the magnificent alpine landscapes and helps to understand some very important topics such as climate changing, sustainable development and environmental pollution. The building respects the eco-sustainability criteria, it has six floors, one of which is underground, and has also a tropical greenhouse that hosts many species of plants and flowers. By visiting the museum it is possible to understand, also by installations and exhibitions, the origins of the world, the formation of the Dolomites, the history of the first human settlements and the biodiversity of alpine flora and fauna; inside MUSE there is also the biggest dinosaur exhibition of the Alpine Arc. It is an interactive museum and it puts the spotlight on the public, that can experiment in first person.

IF you are in Trento, a stop at MUSE is must. It is an ideal for people pf all ages: there is the “Maxi Ooh!”, an area dedicated to children (0-5 y/o), where they could have fun thanks to interactive games. There is also the FabLab, a digital manufacturing laboratory.


Il MUSE, Museo delle Scienze, si trova a Trento ed è stato progettato dal famoso architetto Renzo Piano. Esso racconta i paesaggi alpini in tutto il loro splendore e aiuta a comprendere alcune tematiche fondamentali come il cambiamento climatico, lo sviluppo sostenibile e l’inquinamento ambientale. La struttura rispetta i criteri di eco-sostenibilità, si articola su sei piani, di cui uno interrato, e comprende anche una serra tropicale, la quale ospita numerose specie di piante e fiori. Visitando il museo è possibile comprendere, attraverso installazioni e mostre, le origini del mondo, la formazione delle Dolomiti, la storia dei primi insediamenti umani e la biodiversità di flora e fauna alpina; al MUSE c’è anche la più grande mostra dei dinosauri dell’arco alpino. È un museo molto interattivo e mette in primo piano il pubblico, che può sperimentare in prima persona.

Se vi trovate a Trento, una tappa al MUSE è d’obbligo. È un luogo ideale per le persone di tutte le età: esiste infatti il “Maxi Ooh!”, uno spazio dedicato a bambini (0-5 anni), in cui potranno divertirsi grazie a giochi interattivi. C’è anche il FabLab, un laboratorio di fabbricazione digitale.
