Lago di Garda

Lake Garda is the biggest italian lake and it borders three regions: Veneto, Trentino Alto Adige, Lombardia. It is of glacial origin, it has 25 tributary rivers and only one emissary, the river Mincio. Inside the lake there are 5 islands and its waters touch many villages such as Riva del Garda, Limone, Arco, Tenno, Desenzano, Malcesine, Sirmione and others. There is a highway which connects all these beautiful villages, the Gardesana, on whose sides there are castles and historical monuments.

The climate is mild and it is favorable for the growth of olive trees, palms, lemon trees, orange trees, grapevines from which to extract fine wine. Its crystal clear waters has fascinated lots of artists throughout history: such as the poet Goethe and many northeuropean painters. On the Lake of Garda it is possible to do many funny activities: winsdurf, sailing, golf, mountain bike (there is a long bicycle lane along the lake), climbing-

Il Lago di Garda è il più grande lago italiano e confina con tre regioni differenti: Veneto, Trentino Alto Adige, Lombardia. È di origine glaciale, ha 25 fiumi immissari e un solo emissario, il Mincio. All’interno del lago si trovano anche 5 isole e le sue acque arrivano a toccare numerosi paesi come Riva del Garda, Limone, Arco, Tenno, Desenzano, Malcesine, Sirmione e molti altri. Vi è un’autostrada che collega tutti questi bellissimi paesi, la Gardesana, ai cui lati vi sono castelli e monumenti storici.

Il clima del Lago di Garda è mite e quindi favorevole per la crescita di ulivi, palme, aranci, limoni, viti da cui estratte vini molto pregiati. Le sue acque cristalline hanno affascinato moltissimi artisti nel corso della storia: come il poeta Goethe e numerosi pittori nordeuropei. Sul Lago di Garda è possibile svolgere divertenti attività come il windsurf, vela, golf, mountain bike (c’è una lunga pista ciclabile che costeggia il lago), arrampicata.

Visitate il Lago di Garda, perché è una delle più belle località d’Italia.
