Vittorio Emanuele II Gallery is one of the most enchanting places of Milan, the Italian capital of fashion. It is a perfect combination between art and culture, and amusement and shopping: in fact, is is characterized by marble floors and a magnificent steel dome and it hosts high fashion shops and ateliers, luxury restaurants and elegant bars. Because of this, it is known as “the Milan lounge”.
The huge dome impresses the tourists for its charm and elegance; it frames four lunettes which represent the continents: Europe, Asia, Africa and America. The octagon located in its centre includes the Savoia’s family crest and a symbolic bull.
Vittorio Emanuele II Gallery is made of two vaulted glass arches and of an octagon which covers the street that connects Piazza del Duomo and Piazza della Scala: thus, it connects two of the most important monuments of Milan, the Duomo (Cathedral) and the Theatre alla Scala.

Proprio per questo motivo è soprannominata “il salotto di Milano”.
L’enorme volta colpisce i turisti per il suo fascino e la sua eleganza; essa incornicia quattro lunette che rappresentano i continenti: Europa, Asia, Africa e America. L’ottagono posizionato al suo centro comprende invece lo stemma dell’antica famiglia Savoia ed un simbolico toro.
Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II è quindi formata da due archi a volta in vetro e da un ottagono che riveste la via che unisce Piazza del Duomo e Piazza della Scala: essa collega quindi due dei più importanti monumenti di Milano, il Duomo ed il Teatro alla Scala.
