The city of Ostuni is located in the province of Brindisi, in Apulia, and it is one of the most suggestive and particular places of all the Salento. It is also named “White City” because most of the houses and buildings are white and its old town in painted in white lime. Ostuni has a stunning middle age village and its lower partis surrounded by walls with two main entrances to the city: Porta Nova and Porta San Demetrio. The most important building is Ostuni Cathedral which is in the roman-gothic style and has a beautifulk rose window with 24 spokes. In the centre of the village there is the Museum of the pre-classic civilizations of the Murgia Meridionale and inside it there is the mold of Delia.
Ostuni is know worldwide for its white color. The tourists love visiting the oldest part of the city by walking through the little streets and alleys, stopping to observe the view, entering the small shops.

Ostuni ha un borgo medievale molto affascinante, la cui parte inferiore è circondata dalle mura e presenta due accessi principali: Porta Nova e Porta San Demetrio. L’edificio più importante è la Cattedrale di Ostuni di stile romanico-gotico che presenta un bellissimo rosone a 24 raggi. Proprio al centro del borgo c’è il Museo delle civiltà preclassiche della Murgia Meridionale al cui interno vi è calco di Delia.
Ostuni è conosciuta a livello mondiale per il suo colore bianco. I turisti amano visitare la parte più antica della città percorrendo le varie stradine ed i vicoli che la attraversano, soffermandosi ad osservare il panorama, entrando nelle piccole botteghe e negozietti.
